On 18 November we hosted our second annual Food Trends Event to help announce our findings on what's hot for the coming year - and once again we can look back on a hugely successful and rewarding day with a superb array of guests, some inspirational and insightful speakers, and of course a wide variety of delicious food and drinks.
This year's event was held at Bruno Loubet's Grain Store, King's Cross, and combined great food and industry leaders together with inspirational speakers including:
- Afroditi Krassa, speaking about designing inspirational food spaces
- Emma Worrolo, The Pineapple Lounge, together with some young guest speakers talking about Generation Z and their habits when it comes to food and drink
- Amelia Boothman, of global brand agency IHQ, speaking about macro, social cultural trends and drivers for 2016/17
- Claire Quidor Richeux, of Givaudan, global leader in the fragrance and flavour industry, on fragrance and food trends
As well as hearing from a number of thought provoking speakers, we also announced our 2016/17 Food & Drink Trend Predictions and unveiled the new trends book.
A big thanks to all of our guests, some of whom came from as far as Australia and South Africa to see us, as well as Bruno Loubet and the whole team at Grain Store for providing an impeccable service, and food and drink that kept our senses entertained all day long. Next year's event will be held on 16th November 2016 - get it in the diary!
