Tom Sellers, the michelin starred chef behind Restaurant Story, is to open a gourmet chip shop pop-up in London's Covent Garden, in partnership with Krug Champagne.
The venue, called Krug & Chips, will serve food based on Sellers' approach to "narrative gastronomy", which focuses on telling a story through the dishes he serves.
Creations on offer will include "fish in chips", a potato ravioli with fish in tartar sauce; monkfish cheek curry with matchstick fries; and lobster claws wrapped in potato spaghetti with tartar sauce.
Krug & Chips will open in the East Piazza, Covent Garden on 8-12 July in British chip shop-themed dining pods.
Guests will be offered a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée alongside Sellers' chip-inspired dishes. A glass of Krug and one of the dishes costs £35 per person.
The pop-up follows on from similar events in the past, such as Pierre Koffmann's one-week Kreperie in December 2013, which served a crèpe and a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée Champagne for £35.
