A number of London's leading chefs are to go head-to-head in a meaty competition this month at Mortimer House Kitchen in the MHK Meatball competition in aid of charity Movember.
Executive chef Tom Cenci is handing over the keys at Mortimer House Kitchen for one night only, replaced by an exciting line up of top chefs from eight restaurants across the capital who will each be serving up their interpretation of the humble meatball before being judges by a panel of expert judges. Those casting the votes include renowned restaurant critic Giles Coren, chef and food writer Ravneet Gill, food blogger Kar-Shing Tong and editor of Hot Dinners, Catherine Hanley.
The chefs competing on 14th June in the inaugural competition are:
Tim Connor and Gianluigi Di Ghionno - Mortimer House Kitchen
Ruben Dawnay - Rubens Rubens
Helen Graham - previously at Bubala
Anna Grasso - Grasso
Chris Leach - Manteca
Philip Limpl - Levan and Bar Levan
Giacomo Peretti - Firebird
Neil Rankin - founder of Simplicity Foods
