Saturday 8th June is World Gin Day - a day of celebration for all lovers of the distilled spirit. We take a look at who is doing what to celebrate.
Knight's Bar at Simpson's in the Strand
Fuelling a juniper-filled celebration, art deco Knight's Bar is a hidden haven for gin-lovers. This World Gin Day they've partnered with Whitley Neill and the team has devised a menu of special cocktails for the occasion, including: The High Ball - comprises Whitley Neill gin peach, genetian and ginger ale; Martinez - Whitley Neill gin, cherry liquor, wine blend and bitters.
Field Day Festival
World Gin Day just so happens to coincide with the music festival Field Day this year and to make the most of the occasion, Bulldog Gin is creating its very own Gin Yard for party-goers to make the most of their festivities.
DrinkUp.London World Gin Day Festival
DrinkUp.London is hosting its own World Gin Day Festival around London; a five-day festival dedicated to celebrating gin across the capital. Just like all their other festivals - a carefully chosen selection of London's greatest bars will provide bespoke £6 gin cocktails for those with a festival pass for the five day affair. Find out

Mr Fogg's Gin Parlour
Mr Fogg's already boasts an impressive list of over 150 gins to try (not all in one go!), but to celebrate this year's World Gin Day the bar is attempting London's first ever four-metre gin pour, filling a gin goblet from the top windows of the bar onto the street below - now there's a challenge!
