Held on the 29th May, the YBFs Awards culminated at a venue in Camden behind The York & Albany. It brought together young people involved in the current food scene and the awards were given to the following people;
- Rising star of mixology: Geoff Robinson from Hoxton's Happiness Forgets (@happinesshoxton)
- Mobile mover and shaker: Andy Waugh (The Wild Game Co (@wildgameco))
- Best Food Experience Artist: Kevin Darcy (@platterform)
- New Best Alchemist of the Oven: Bridget Hugo (@thewildcaper)
- Meat/Charcuterie Personality: Charlotte Harbottle (@girlbutcher working at Lidgates)
- Coffee King or Queen: Maxwell Colonna-Dashwood of Colonna & Smalls (@colonna_smalls)
- Most Irreverent Young Chef, supported by Norwegian Seafood Council: Douglas McMaster(former winner of BBC Young Chef of the Year @dougiemcmaster)
- Honorary YBFs: Mark Gevaux (aka The Rib Man @theribman) and Ole Martin Hansen of Hansen and Lydersen salmon (@hansen_lydersen)
