Zia Lucia are renowned for their authentic Italian style of cooking, strong community presence and perhaps in particular, their experimental pizza doughs. Now, to show their respect for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this October Zia Lucia will be adding a pink pizza to the menu for the entire month, with a percentage of all proceeds going to the Pink Ribbon Foundation.
Like many people who are unfortunately personally affected by Breast Cancer, this is a cause that is very close to the hearts of the founders of Zia Lucia, and one they feel passionately about. To show their support, they have teamed up with Pink Ribbon, and will be donating £1 per pink pizza sale to the charity.
Zia Lucia's award-winning pizzaiolo and talented chefs have been working away in their open pizza kitchen to create a beautiful pink beetroot infused pizza dough, which will be available alongside Zia Lucia's other signature pizza bases, including traditional, wholemeal, charcoal and made without gluten.
Guests can choose from a huge array of classic and unusual toppings to go with their chosen dough, including a mouth-watering Vegan option made using butternut squash cream, and delicious 'pizza bianca' options that swap the tomato base for olive sauce and truffle honey.
