Fast Casual Restaurant Chain Sweetgreen Is Testing Out Fries On Its Menu

American fast casual restaurant chain Sweetgreen, known for its seasonal, healthy salads and grain bowls made in-house, is turning its hand to fries for the first time but with a difference.

The chain is testing out new 'Ripple Fries' across its Los Angeles locations, scratch-made, air-fried potato fries served with your choice of pickle ketchup or garlic aioli.

The way that Sweetgreen has approached adding fries to its menus is in-line with the rest of its offering and something very different to what you'd usually expect to find with QSR fries options. The cooking method, using avocado oil which is a non-seed oil, sees the fries adding up to around 240 calories.
