Floating Mexican Pop-Up Turning Heads in Melbourne

From the team that brought Melbourne's on-water bar Ponyfish Island several years ago are back with a new dining barge in the Australian city this summer. Andrew Mackinnon (The Taboo Group) and Grant Smillie (E.P & L.P, Melbourne City Brewing) are launching Supafish, a 38-metre, 300-capacity Mexican floating restaurant, to the waters of the Yarra until February 2018.

Yarra will host a schedule of seasonal events and activities alongside an all-day Mexican menu specially curated by Matt Lane and Nick Peters, best known for Hotel Jesus and Mamasita. Expect a whole range of traditional Mexican dishes including El Pstor Quesadilla, Totopos Corn Chips with Salsa and Ceviche, washed down with a summer-themed drinks list that includes classics like the Margarita and Espresso Martini and a special Kombucha cocktail.

The eye-catching, iconic restaurant has a futuristic design that will not be missed by passers by. Find out more about the restaurant here.
