It's been a busy few weeks in the condiments category with a range of new product launches dropping, perfectly timed for summer BBQ season. Heinz have launched a limited edition 'Every Sauce', Aldi has introduced a 'Subway-inspired' sauce range, while fizzy drink brand 7UP has also got in on the act this summer with a limited-edition barbecue condiment range.
The Heinz 'Every Sauce' brings together flavours from a huge range of the brand's most popular condiments into one, and has been hailed as the 'Holy Grail' of condiments - for good reason if the taste is great too. The new sauce combines a huge 14 sauces from Heinz's range, including Heinz Burger Sauce, Garlic Sauce, Aioli Sauce, Smokey Baconnaise, Sweet Chilli, Chip Sauce, Saucy Sauce, Mayoracha, Mayomust, Truffle Mayo, Garlic & Caramelised Onion Mayo, Curry Ketchup, Pickle Ketchup, and Smokey Bacon Ketchup. That's some list!
Supermarket chain Aldi has been at it again duping well known brands with its own same same but different offering, this time replicating four of the popular sauces found at Subway into its own brand versions. These flavours include Marinara, Chipotle Mayonnaise, Teriyaki Glaze and Sweet Onion.
The more unexpected launch came from 7UP with its new, limited time only BBQ range, developed in collaboration with Twisted.Three products have been introduced, each drawing upon 7UP's well known lemon and lime flavours, with Zesty Mayonnaise, Zingy Hot Sauce and Tangy Salad Dressing.
Fans need to act fast to be in with a chance of getting their hands on these new condiments though via a social media competition or in-person via a giveaway at one of 7UP's first of its kind Coolbox installations.
