ASAP Pizza Launches As Casual Dining Grows

The masterminds behind the ever popular Flor in London's Borough Market area, as well as the Michelin-starred Lyle's, have created a brand new pizza business which shall run from the same kitchen as Flor.

Christened ASAP Pizza, the new business shall be headed up by Pam Yung, who has immense experience leading pizza pop-ups around the globe, with this latest creation focusing on sourdough pizzas made with heritage British wheats.

Previous work by Yung has seen her collaborate upon Bonci of Rome, L'Industrie Pizzeria of New York and Le Vin Papillon of Montreal; all going on to secure highly recommended reviews.

For ASAP Pizza, the menu shall include the likes of:

  • On and On - green onions, new season garlic, wild garlic & wild marjoram
  • Hawaiian - pickled scotch bonnet, red onion, grilled pineapple & cured pig's cheek
  • Prosciutto - with a homemade prosciutto cotto from Gothelney Farm in Cornwall

The ongoing adaptations within the food and drinks industry, as a result of COVID-19, has promoted the creation of businesses such as ASAP Pizza to help existing establishments diversify their model to survive.
