A global resource for food and restaurant news and inspiration, Eater has launched an exciting new tool which takes discovering new plates to eat to the next level.
The new Eater app combines decades of data and research from the brand's on-the-ground editors who scour locations around the world to find the best restaurants, hottest bars, trending pop-ups, foodie stalwarts and more, all in one place. Featuring over 10,000 curated maps in over 100 cities around the globe, the comprehensive directory will allow foodie tourists and locals alike to discover new spots and even go as far as booking a table all within the same app.
"The Eater app is the number one request we've gotten from readers over the years, who have long been asking for an easier way to access our restaurant recommendations on the go," explained Eater editor-in-chief Stephanie Wu. "Our new app helps diners find great meals around the world while showcasing the breadth of Eater's expertise, and we're thrilled to launch it with Capital One Dining and SevenRooms, two companies that care deeply about helping people discover and book new places to eat."
Via the app, users can see detailed information about every recommended restaurant, including why Eater's editors love it, as well as all the maps it is featured on. These restaurants encompass a wide range of cuisines and price points, covering Michelin-starred fine dining establishments to neighbourhood favourites to local pastry shops.
