Steam, a ‘calorie-neutral’ restaurant is opening for one day only on Wednesday 13 March. It promises to ‘explore exciting and innovative ways to burn calories without compromising on taste’
The pop-up comes courtesy of Miele, the high-tech kitchen equipment makers, who are promoting a range of steam-cooking appliances. Whether you’re in the market for shiny new gadgetry or just curious, the cooking promises to be supremely healthy.
Calorie-neutral food? It’s the type that burns as many calories as it contains – although they do appear to have some exercises up their sleeve too.
The menu is still under wraps, but given that dishes are being created by Boundary chef Fred Forster, it’s bound to be good!
To apply for a pair of seats, email both names, your own contact details and preferred sitting time (noon–1.30pm; 12.30-2.30pm; 6.30-8pm; 7-8.30pm) to steam@frankpr.it (NB. You must be able to attend the full 90 minute sitting).
