As we approach Christmas, we wrap up some of the fun festive highlights we've come across in food and drink, as part of a list that we'll be adding to as we get closer to the 25th.
Marmite Baubles
Love them or hate them, Marmite has launched a range of condiment-themed baubles to hang from the tree this Christmas. Their quirky decorations come in a pack of four featuring a Marmite pot, a miniature jar of mayonnaise, a tiny pot of Colman's English Mustard and even a little bauble box of PG tips tea.
'The Icons' have been expertly crafted by a boutique British supplier, and the net proceeds from the sale of these deliciously tasteful baubles will go to The Trussell Trust – a charity addressing the root causes of poverty so that everyone can afford life's essentials, especially around the festive, wintery months.
More information is available here although it looks like these limited edition miniatures sold out fast!
Nutella Christmas Jumper
Nutella super-fans rejoice - the Christmas jumper the brand introduced last year is back by popular demand. With a festive design that features the iconic Nutella jars, this is bound to go down sweetly with the die-hard fans.
Nutella launched a competition at the start of December whereby 200 lucky winners took home one of these limited edition jumpers. If they've tickled your fancy, then you might just have to hold out hope for 2022.
Gin Baubles
Continuing the festive food and drink themed baubles trend, UK importer and distributor of innovative premium spirits brands Gravity Drinks has launched a range of light-up liqueur baubles for the festive period.
Each of the baubles, which come as a set of six, is filled with winter berry-flavoured gin liqueur and contains 23 karat gold leaf. Each one also features a snow globe scene inside as well as a light to make this a great addition to any Christmas tree.
