A collaboration between celebrated chef and food writer Mark Hix and the Thompson Hotel Group, sees the opening of Hix Belgravia and the second of Hix's award-winning Mark's Bar opening on 1st February.
Hix Belgravia will be an 80-seater restaurant offering a menu inspired by Mark's travels from around the world, whilst Mark's Bar will pay homage to his famous Soho bar as well as boasting a stylish cigar garden.
This menu is a change of direction for Mark Hix, who is known for his original take on British food and is frequently lauded as one of London's most eminent restaurateurs with an unrivalled knowledge of ingredients with provenance.
'Hix Belgravia and Mark's Bar will be first-rate destinations, bringing something unique to the desirable Belgravia neighbourhood. We've had fun with the menu and are going 'off piste' as I like to say, so if you're expecting my signature British style then think again.' said Mark Hix.
Jason Pomerac, co-owner of Thompson Hotels added 'Marrying Hix and Thompson Hotels is an exceptional offering which perfectly epitomises the philosophy of Belgraves, a Thompson Hotel - to blend traditional British hospitality with an American bohemian attitude.'
