Kitchen Table, the intimate chef’s table dining room tucked away behind Bubbledogs, opened on 2nd October, initially for dinner service only.
With just 19 seats at the stainless steel bar that surrounds James Knappett’s open kitchen, Kitchen Table will see James and his team prepare, serve and talk diners through a tasting menu of contemporary European cooking that bears many of the hallmarks of James’ time at Noma and Per Se, but with a strong focus on British traditions, ingredients and flavours. The tasting menu will be priced at £68. Sandia Chang, the restaurant’s General Manager and Sommelier, has compiled a wine list of over 100 bins - primarily lesser-known fine wines from small producers - to accompany James’ dishes.
Kitchen Table will serve dinner over two sittings: 6.30pm and 8pm, with reservations now being taken on 020 7637 7770. Lunch service will be served from 2013.
