London's Popular Supa Ya Ramen Goes Permanent

London's popular Ramen supper club and pop-up, Supa Ya Ramen has now opened a permanent local on Dalston's Kingsland Road. Chef Luke Findlay, formerly of Nopi and Berber & Q, brought his 'traditionally inauthentic' ramen concept to life from home in Hackney as a supper club initially before numerous sell-out supper-clubs and dinners.

He had been set to launch a new permanent spot in Hackney at the start of lockdown in 2020 after which plans were shelved and brought back to life this summer.

The select menu is may be limited but is packed with a carefully curated array of ingredients. Menu items include Roast chicken soup with ponzu, smoked bacon oil, slow roast pork belly stuffed with black bean sausage, pickled red chillies, green onions and fudgy egg; Iberico pork fat, salt beef, Supa Ya pickles, and chicken soup noodles, flavoured with hot mustard, house soy, and chilli paste, and topped with a fudgy egg. Plus several other delicious options to be explored.

Also, if you're sticking around for dessert, keep an eye out for the noodle ice cream with miso caramel.

The venue's soft launch was held at the start of the month before the doors open for one and all. Find out more about the venue via the Supa Ya Ramen Instagram account.
