Renowned LA chef Nancy Silverton opened her debut London restaurant last week as her popular American venue Pizzeria Mozza comes to the Treehouse Hotel in Marylebone. A pioneer of sourdough and Californian cuisine from since the 1990s, Silverton's countless awards include a Michelin Star for Los Angeles restaurant, Osteria Mozza so her debut in London is a much anticipated one.
Pizzeria Mozza soft launched last week in the capital and showcases all of the classics it's become famed for. Alongside a mouthwatering list of pizzas featuring seasonal ingredients and her signature 'well-structured' crusts, the menu also boasts a number of other delightful Italian-inspired side snacks and salads.
Accompanying the food there's a typical Italian feel to the drinks menu with a range of seasonal wines, organic and sustainable bottles, and classic Italian cocktails too.
With so much choice and variety too out there when it comes to pizza it may seem hard to get overly excited about yet another pizza concept opening however Silverton's reputation speaks for itself and this one is definitely one to watch.
