We've seen new product drops from both Nestlé and supermarket Tesco in the chocolate bar category this month - we take a look at the recent launches.
Tesco introduced 10 new chocolate block bars across its core and Finest ranges. The new core flavours include the Pretzel & Salt Bar, a Crispies, Caramel & Almond Bar, a dark chocolate Whole Hazelnut Bar, a Biscuit & Raisin Bar and finally the new Pecan & Honeycomb Bar.
The slightly more expensive Tesco Finest chocolate bars are pitched as "affordable yet indulgent" treats. The new flavours include a Peru Dark Chocolate Bar, the Côte d'Ivoire Orange Chocolate Bar, the Côte d'Ivoire Mint Chocolate Bar, a Ecuador Dark Chocolate Bar and finally the Dark Milk Chocolate Bar.
Also now available in Tesco stores around the UK, the world's largest food & beverage company Nestlé has brought back its KitKat Chunky White with Lotus Biscoff for a limited time only. The chunky bar will initially be available for 12 weeks as part of a supermarket trial before a full roll out later in the year.
The caramelised biscuit bar first featured last year and their return has already been celebrated online.
