Each month we track the most exciting new openings across the food and beverage industry, around the world. Check out the best new spots this July.
BluHouse, Hong Kong
The Rosewood group has opened the doors to its latest edition. BluHouse is dedicated to all things Italian, led by Naples-born chef Giovanni Galeota. The interiors have been designed to evoke the architectural elegance of Milan and Rome with white marble and blue lava stone counters, mosaic floor tiles and long wooden tables. The place itself is split into two - the more casual, deli-style with a menu of rosticceria, pizza al taglio and gelato and The Dining Room by BluHouse with a refined, fine dining experience.

Mashi No Mashi, Sydney
Wagyumafia, one of Tokyo's most exclusive restaurants, has opened its doors to its sister brand, Mashi No Mashi in Pyrmont's The Star. Whilst described as a ramen joint, the focus is all on the Ozaki beef with it taking the centre stage of each dish. There are five signature ramen dishes which includes the tokusei tsukemen (house special dipping noodles) served with thinly sliced and lightly seared Ozaki beef, bamboo shoots, cabbage, egg and a concentrated, umami0heavy Wagyu dipping broth. The interior is bursting with the brand's signature bright yellow and black wall art with a party atmosphere thanks to the tunes that pump out all day long.

The Little Scarlet Door, London
The good folk behind The Little Orange Door in Clapham, (as well as Fulham's Blue Door and Notting Hill's Yellow Door) have brought their house party vibes to Soho's Greek Street. This time they have opted for a Scarlet Door and, as always, there's no signage outside. The vibe they have created this time is one of a Manhattan-style loft apartment with sofas, coffee tables and bookshelves. The space is split into rooms that include the kitchen-bar and a living room. Drinks cover everything from cocktails to beer and wine, and as with every decent house party, nibbles are offered for anyone feeling peckish.

Alberta's, Busselton, WA
Slightly off the beaten track is Alberta's, new from Kirsty Marchant and Ben Ing. They bring with them a certain pedigree thanks to Ben's stint as head chef at Noma and Kirsty's stint as head gardener. Whilst they are bringing aspects learnt from their time at Noma such as preserving summer veggies for the winter months, they are clear that, for the moment, they want to provide an offer that appeals to the locals. They are starting with the mornings where coffee and baked goods like maple tartlets are offered before moving onto Sunday lunch which might include just one main on the menu to prevent waste.

The Bar, Sydney
For his latest venture, Maurice Terzini has channeled the glamour of the classic hotel bars found in London, New York and Rome. The Bar at the Intercontinental Double Bay exudes sophisticated vibes with its quintessential interiors. It is all about those special touches from classic service and drinks to a space where people can enjoy some quiet time. Martini trolleys and tableside service are pillars of the experience along with the return of the resident pianist and a trio of musicians who have created a signature sound for the venue.
