Grassfed, London
Chef Paul Foster, the name behind the Michelin-starred restaurant Salt in Stratford-upon-Avon, has opened the doors to his first London spot. Called Grassfed, it can be found in Camden's Hawley Wharf and as the name suggests, focuses on grass-fed beef with dishes like the beef snag, a beef hotdog with truffle mayonnaise or a beer rib on the bone to share. It is not all beef though with another dish being BBQ dayboat fish with smoked seaweed butter. Foster's plan is to showcase quality British-sourced meat and to raise awareness about regenerative farming.

Matchamind, Edinburgh
Edinburgh has welcomed its first matcha bar on Brighton Place in Portobello MatchaMind is being described as a health bar, offering not only matcha drinks but health advice too with the aim of the venture to 'heal your gut, heal your mind'. On offer is a selection of matcha drinks all made with the highest ceremonial grade alongside superfoods that can be added in, such as acai and blue spirulina. Customers can also choose from gut-friendly snacks on the go whilst the three rooms in the back will offer various coaching from life coaching to wellness coaching as well as skin treatments with the hope of making customers feel better and boosting their livelihood.

Reine, Melbourne
Nomad Group's stately new restaurant, Reine, has opened its doors in the same building as Gimlet and Grill Americano. The 140 seat diner is to be found in the Cathedral Room in the former Melbourne Stock Exchange with a design of red marble bars and banquettes complimenting the majestic space. Jacqui Challinor, the chef from Nomad Sydney, has moved to Melbourne to head up Reine, serving up French cuisine in an easy Australian way. She's cooking over a bark-burning grill with mains including duck-neck-sausage cassoulet, whole fish and six different cuts of steak. Watch out Melbourne, this could become the spot to eat in and be seen.

Kwant, London
The highly anticipated reopening of one of London's hottest cocktail bars has finally arrived. Kwant, which was forced to close its doors thanks to the pandemic, has found a new home around the corner from Green Park Station. No detail has been spared in its interiors with a tropical these of hand-painted Polynesian-style art and indoor palm trees. Much as before, the cocktails are top notch, like the Gonzales made with tequila, guava, makrut lime, 30/40 eau de vie and CO2 or the umami-laden Old Fashioned-style Wallet cocktail. And the bar bites are just as good, put together by pedigreed chef Joni Ketonen.

YAO YAO Sauerkraut Fish, Singapore
YAO YAO, the Chinese sauerkraut fish restaurant has arrived in Singapore. It is known for its signature YAO YAO Sauerkraut Fish which is made with tender sliced California White Seabass cooked alongside sauerkraut that's been fermented for 24 days. These are then doused in a delicious broth with Sichuan spices that takes eight hours to simmer. Unusually, it also offers a combination of two flavours in a bowl - diners might choose to pair with Hong Kong-style Typhoon Shelter shrimp with fries, Sichuan poached fish or tomato fish.

Mr Wanderlust, Los Angeles
Mr Wanderlust is the newest arrival at the Level 8 restaurant development on the eighth floor of the Moxy and AC Hotels and it promises to be quite a show. This is a high-flying, globetrotting piano bar and jazz lounge with decor that only adds to the ambiance - vibrant rich fabrics, custom wallpaper and a vast bar space. The opening menu pulls from bars and cocktail histories around the world and includes collaborations with truly talented mixologists like Kate Gerwin (Happy Accidents in Albuquerque and Netflix's Dink Masters) and Naomi Schimek (Soulmate in West Hollywood).
