Pierre Koffman awarded Chef of the Year

It’s that time of the year again….. that is, for the AA Food Awards, and who better than the legendary Pierre Koffman to be awarded the Chef of the Year title. This award means a lot to chefs as it’s the one that is voted for by other chefs.

London was under the spotlight for Dinner by Heston Blumenthal as he was awarded the Best Restaurant in the capital and Hibiscus was promoted to the maximum five rosettes, the only restaurant to achieve such a high ranking. Jason Atherton at Pollen St Social was awarded his fourth rosette.

Outside of London Church Green British Grill in England, Rogano in Scotland and Sosban in Wales were all picked up as the best restaurant in their geographical areas. The Limewood Hotel in New Forrest England picked up the Hotel of the Year in England.
