Pringles has released a limited-edition, never-before-tasted flavour in the form of an NFT - the CryptoCrisp, a virtual flavour depicted as a piece of art created by artist Vasya Kolotusha.
NFT, or non-fungible token, is a rising type of technology found in blockchain which represents a unique proof of ownership over something that's intangible, not in physical existence.
The new CryptoCrisp is limited to just 50 versions, while the "flavour" is actually a 1080×1080 MP4 file that depicts an animated spinning golden Pringles can along with Crypto-themed crisps.
Is this the beginnings of a new wave of crypto food and drink? Time will tell. Let us know if you spot anything similar with a message over on Twitter @thefoodpeople.
