London's The Berkeley Hotel has updated its seasonal alfresco space into a new gastro pub concept for the winter ahead, called The Bishop at The Berkeley. The new pub-themed space in Knightsbridge will be a hotspot for either a bite to eat or a full dinner as well as winter warming drinks from the menu.
With a name inspired by the mitre that originally graced The Berkeley logo, this is a pop-up infused with the hotel's heritage.
Flickering candles light up our take on the traditional pub setting, with one side turned into a pub bar, complete with beer taps and bar stools available for drinks and nibbles – with a Berkeley twist. Think crispy pork scratchings, Welsh 'Rare-bites' and black pudding croquettes with house made HP sauce.
The main menu features a range of British classics with a slight Berkeley twist, as well as daily specials - such as Wellington Wednesday, Saturday's rabbit ragu and prawn pie and a classic Sunday roast at the weekend - as well as mouth-watering burgers. In fitting with any good public house menu The Bishop at The Berkeley offers a strong dessert menu which includes favourites such as sticky toffee puddin, molten chocolate stout cake and pear & blackberry crumble.
The pub concept launched on 11th November and will run throughout the winter. Find out more about The Bishop at The Berkeley over on their website.
