For those of you with good memories, you’ll recognise this as something we featured in our April 2011 edition of foodwatching. It’s in London now and has proved such a hit that it’s time has been extended to run through to the 31st December.
The Cube by Electrolux is a unique dining experience created to celebrate professional expertise.
Continuing its residency atop London’s Royal Festival Hall, it will feature the talents of some of the most exciting chefs in the UK who work with Electrolux every day.
This is a unique opportunity to watch some of Britain’s top chefs such as Daniel Clifford, Sat Bains, Tom Kitchin and Claude Bosi cook for just 18 guests high above the hustle and bustle, against a backdrop of the River Thames, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
This unique experience allows guests to watch their food prepared for them and interact with the chefs who share their hints, tips and techniques on creating fantastic quality food at home.
The extension of the project will see additional chefs added to the incredible line up of Michelin starred talent, with all chefs presenting a new menu for the autumn and winter seasons.
Showcasing Electrolux's Scandinavian design heritage, the minimalist interior marries pure white with dark wood. The semi-transparent structure offers guests unique views over London from the top of the Royal Festival Hall.
Open daily, The Cube by Electrolux will offer a lunch at 12:00 for £175 and dinner at 19:00 for £215 (prices include champagne reception, a minimum 6 course tasting menu and matched wines).
