We're very excited to announce The TFP Foundation. The Foundation has been set up to use food as a force for good by supporting better food, health and education in children and young people.
In addition, we're delighted to be partnering with Chefs in Schools who are working tirelessly to improve the health of children through better school food & education. Like us, they recognise the important role that food has to play in improving the health and education of our future generations.
thefoodpeople, through The TFP Foundation, are donating 1p from every £1 of revenue as well as raising funds through other exciting initiatives. This includes our Online Trend Summit which is taking place on 24th November. Attended by over 2,500 industry experts from around the world, we'll asking delegates to donate a proportion cost of the ticket price to the Foundation.
"We're absolutely delighted to be partnering with Chefs in Schools, who as a young and highly ambitious charity, are rooted in our joint mission of using food as a force for good; specifically to improve the health and education of children and young people. Through the Food People Foundation, we can all do our bit to support the amazing efforts of Chefs in Schools." - Charles Banks, Co-founder, thefoodpeople
Funding from the TFP Foundation will enable Chefs in Schools to continue their vital work in transforming school food and food education in schools to improve the health of future generations. It will also support vital campaigning work which is calling for an end to child food poverty.
We'd be so grateful if you would join with us and support the TFP Foundation and in doing so the incredible and very necessary work that Chefs in Schools are leading and by giving as generously as you possibly can at the Online Trend Summit.
We recognise that this year has been particularly tough on many parts of our industry, particularly hospitality. If you can't give, we'd appreciate a like, comment or share.
