The iconic Old War Office in Whitehall, London, has completed its transformation to become home to the new Raffles London at The OWO - a luxury hotel and dining destination.
The multi-purpose venue opened its doors last month with 120 rooms and suites, plus 85 spacious private residences known as The OWO Residences by Raffles. Also on site are nine destination restaurants and three bars, a luxurious Guerlain Spa, event spaces including one in the Whitehall Ballroom which seats up to 600 people, and a number of meeting rooms too.
Amongst the restaurants at Raffles London at The OWO are signature restaurants from three Michelin-starred Argentinian chef Mauro Colagreco, Mauro Colagreco at Raffles London at The OWO and Mauro's Table. The former elevates the flavours of the English garden in all its seasonal glory in a menu that highlights more than 70 varieties of vegetable and fruit, all produced in Britain. The latter offers a much more intimate experience with immersive private dining for up to 20 guests, including an open show kitchen.
Colagreco is also the mastermind behind a third restaurant, Saison, which offers a more relaxed dining experience with all-day Mediterranean dining inspired by the Riviera serving breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch and dinner.
Colagreco isn't the only Michelin-starred chef on site as Japanese chef Endo Kazutoshi, of Enzo at the Rotunda, leads the charge at a rooftop dining experience with a 60-seat dining room, a chef's table, outside terrace and private dining space in one of the building's historic turrets. This Japanese restaurant is paired with a 28-seat sake bar situated on the ground floor, with access directly from Whitehall Place.
The entire location sounds like an exception experience bringing together opulence and fine dining into one iconic location that's marked in the history books of the nation. Find out more about Raffles London at The OWO and the dining experiences on offer here.
