Trends Event 2017 - One Week To Go!

We're just one week out from a huge day of food and drink inspiration, insight and future market predictions, with our Trends Event 2017 now just seven days away. Now in it's third year, the event has grown from strength-to-strength, attracting a wider and more diverse array of industry leaders, both as guests and speakers. So, what can you expect from the day?

Speakers - We've confirmed a host of leaders from across the food and drink industry to open the window into their respective lives and projects. Insight will be heard from:

Amelia Boothman, Director of Strategy, IHQ (Global Independent Design & Branding Agency) – The 'Social & Cultural' trends in Food and Beverage, both in and out of Home.

Scott Drummond, Co Founder, EATSA – The man behind award-winning and industry-disrupting automated quinoa bowl concept EATSA, shares his experience in developing disruptive formats as well as the wider and growing use of technology in food.

Doug McMaster, Chef & Founder, Silo (Brighton) – Building a delicious but sustainable waste-free food ecosystem.

Robert-Jan Van Der Steur, Bilder & De Clercq (Amsterdam) – Disruptive food and drink retailer with a new approach to retailing; putting consumer experience and convenience at the heart of what they do. Robert-Jan shares the thinking behind Bilder and how this and similar concepts will change the face of retailing.

Osnat Michaeli, CMO, Infarm – As pressure on sustainable and ethical supply chains increase globally, there's a need to think differently about how we farm. Infarm is pioneering an 'on demand' farming service to help cities, retailers and chefs become more self-sufficient in their food production, whilst both eliminating waste and reducing environmental impact.

Sara Carter, Marketing Director – Specialist Coffee and Food Business - Paced Group. With a pedigree in global coffee and retail marketing, Sara gives us an 'outside in' marketeers perspective of whats emerging and gaining momentum within our ever evolving Coffee Culture.

Tokunbo Koiki, Founder of Tokunbo's Kitchen – Tokunbo tells her personal story and introduces us to one of the worlds last great cuisines to be modernised - West African and more specifically Nigerian Cuisine. The dishes, the ingredients and her personal take the sensory wonder that is West African food.

The Food

You'll be both inspired and delighted by a 'trend-led' lunch prepared and cooked by Isaac McHale and the team at The Clove Club. The Clove Club has led the way in the UK food scene in recent years, recently being voted the highest UK entry in the World's 50 Best at number 26 as well has holding 1 Michelin Star.
