The annual list of the World's 50 Best Restaurants has been partly revealed, with the restaurants placing 51st to 100th announced, London's Kol being the highest new entry in 73rd. The full list of 50th down to 1st is soon to be revealed on 18th July.
Notable movements from this first tranche of the results include a drop out of the top 50 for London's Lyle's for the first time in several years, placing 54th. Mexican Chef Co-Owner, Santiago Lastra's Kol debuts in the list, a much celebrated venue blending Mexican dishes and techniques with British ingredients.
