'Top 50' Cocktail Bars in UK announced – London bar Satan's Whiskers has topped the list
The top 50 cocktail bars in the UK have been announced, with Satan's Whiskers in London taking the top spot.
Now a three-time winner of the number one spot, the bar in Bethnal Green serves exceptional classic cocktails using a range of spirits and ingredients the bartenders are truly proud of.

Subway to trial jacket potatoes
Subway has announced it is trialling a brand-new range of hot jacket potatoes in 170 of its restaurants from 19th February. This move follows the 'jacket potato renaissance' across social media.
Customers can choose from a variety of fillings, including classic options like Heinz Beanz and Cheese or Tuna Mayonnaise, along with popular Subway choices such as Chicken Tikka, Taco Beef, or Rotisserie Style Chicken and Bacon. Every Sub can be transformed into a spud, giving customers the freedom to get creative!
Speaking about the launch, Deniz Safa, Director of Innovation and Culinary at Subway EMEA, said: "We're always looking to bring our fans delicious and customisable options that suit every taste and every budget. Made with British potatoes, salted butter and a double portion of cheese, plus any of our many toppings, Spudway is the perfect freshly made, high-quality lunch choice".
Spudway will be available until 15th April while stocks last, and if the trial proves successful there's potential for Spudway to be rolled out nationwide later this year.

Heinz to launch 3 new flavours – and the public gets to decide
Heinz is set to introduce 3 new flavours of Heinz Beanz… but the flavours are still a mystery! Heinz is inviting creative Brits to submit their ideas and help shape the new tastes.
The lucky winners will see their creation on the shelves, as well as be gifted £5,000 and a lifetime supply of baked beans.
To get involved, visit the beanzofyourdreamz website and pick three chosen ingredients to create your flavour. You'll need to give your creation a name and explain why they are the 'Beanz of your dreamz'.
You can enter the competition from 18th February, and it will run for an entire month, so you have plenty of time to wait for your stroke of genius.
Alessandra de Dreuille, Director of Meals at Heinz said: "Heinz Beanz have been a kitchen staple for nearly 125 years, but we've never asked the public to decide what flavour comes next – until now. We know that Brits are already getting creative with their Beanz, so it's a no brainer for us to get them involved in deciding what the next flavours should be".

Gourmet popcorn shop in London creating a buzz
A new popcorn-focused shop has opened in Covent Garden.
Godfrey's is offering small-bath hand-crafted classics, as well as some specialties – including staples such as plain buttered, salted, cheddar cheese and caramel corn. Two specials are Biscoff crisp and a caramel, salted pretzel and white chocolate version.
It's clear that Godfrey's is embracing a retro vibe – coke is served in glass bottles, and there's merch up for sale too.

Netflix Bites has opened in Las Vegas, after a sellout run in LA
Netflix and MGM Grand have unveiled a new dining experience in Las Vegas where diners can tuck into dishes from popular Netflix shows such as Stranger Things, Squid Game, Bridgerton and more.
To mark the opening, NETFLIX BITES Vegas hosted an exclusive preview event. Welcoming diners to the new culinary experience were Josh Simon, Vice President of Consumer Products at Netflix, and James McBride, Vice President of Food & Beverage for MGM.
Simon remarked: "NETFLIX BITES Vegas is a new way to experience fan-favourite movies and shows - when our fans find a show they like, they don't just want to love it - they want to live it. There's no city in the world that knows best how to immerse fans in over-the-top worlds like Las Vegas. MGM, known for their top-notch hospitality and entertainment, is the ideal creative partner delivering fun, original storytelling through memorable food and drink experiences".
