Cafe Anglais hosts collaborative diners with real foodies
Six of Britain’s most prominent chefs and food writers will be joining Rowley Leigh in his kitchen at Le Café Anglais for ‘Cooking with Rowley’ - a series of one-off, collaborative dinners.
Taking part in Cooking with Rowley over the coming months will be: Tom Parker Bowles (food writer, broadcaster and columnist with the Mail on Sunday); James Ramsden (food writer and author), Florence Knight (head chef of Polpetto), Lucas Hollweg (food writer, author and columnist with Sunday Times Style), Rose Prince (food writer, author and columnist with the Daily Telegraph) and Gizzi Erskine (chef, broadcaster and author). Exmouth Market Caravan opens Second Site
Caravan is due to open a second site in Kings Cross in July, following the success of founders Miles Kirby (formerly head chef of The Providores) and Chris Ammermann’s first venture on Exmouth Market.

Byron's Van bringing proper hamburgers to a party near you
The Van will be popping up at street food events and festivals around the country, and is a more compact and even more portable take on the Byron Shack, which made its debut at festivals around the country last summer. The Van’s first appearance was at Camden Town Brewery’s Black Friday on Friday 13th April, and it will be returning there on 25th May, 8th June, 22nd June and 6th July. Other appearances around the country include The Lunch Market at Canary Wharf (29th May and 25th September); the Marylebone Summer Fayre (17th June) and at the Cornbury Festival in Oxfordshire (29th June – 1st July).
