Neil Rankin, Chef Proprietor at Temper, Joins the Trends Event 2019-20

Neil Rankin, Chef Proprietor of London's popular Temper restaurant, will join us on 13th November in London for our Trends Event where he will be taking part in our panel discussion on the future of food and dining, drawing on his love of fire cooking and his experience from Barbecoa, Smokehouse and Pitt Cue.

Temper is a unique BBQ & open fire pit restaurant concept with a focus on New World wine & innovative cocktail creations, offering a selection of meat dishes sourced from trusted farmers from across the UK & butchered in house.

Neil himself was one of the leading pioneers of London's high end barbecue scene and is well known for his experimental use of bold flavours, drawing on global influences. He began his career as a chef in fine-dining kitchens under Michael Wignall and Nuno Mendes, and at Rhodes 24 and The French Table. He went on to work at Barbecoa, the restaurant which saw Jamie Oliver team up with Adam Perry Lang, where his love for charcoal cooking began. His influence has also seen him appear on popular food TV programmes such as The Great British Menu, and Sunday Brunch, and has been a food writer for newspapers and broadsheets such as The Standard, the Metro, The Times and The Guardian.

Neil joins a number of exciting and thought-provoking speakers at the Trends Event 2019-20 who will truly bring trends to life, relevant for all aspects of the food and drink industry.
